Course Overview:

This qualification is aimed at developing specialised knowledge and skills, together with experience in leadership and management, across a range of enterprise and industry contexts. Individuals at this level will gain knowledge to use initiative and judgement to plan and implement a range of leadership and management functions, with accountability for personal and team outcomes within broad parameters.

Students will learn and apply cognitive and communication skills to identify, analyse and synthesise information from a variety of sources and transfer their knowledge to others, and creative or conceptual skills to express ideas and perspectives or respond to complex problems. The Advanced Diploma of Management is structured to provide advanced management, workforce, customer service, and leadership skills to meet the challenges of managing in the demanding business sector.

Successful completion of BSB50420 Diploma of Leadership and Management or other relevant qualification.

 

  1. Language, Literacy and Numeracy Requirements

There are no language, literacy and numeracy requirements to enter this qualification. However, a pre-training language, literacy and numeracy review will be carried out during enrolment to investigate the need for support throughout the course.

 

  1. Licensing/Regulatory Requirements

There are no licensing or regulatory requirements associated with this course.

International students are required to hold Overseas Health Insurance cover for the duration of the course.

 

RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNER (RPL) AND CREDIT TRANSFER

Parts of the course may be exempted for applicants able to demonstrate that they have achieved the level of skills and knowledge equivalent to the unit they seek credit for through work experience, life experience or similar study elsewhere.
