Course Description:
This course aims to empower students with a variety of career opportunities. Students who successfully complete the course will gain the required knowledge to manage teams and meetings, while being able to motivate people and analyse various organisational situations. With a focus on understanding the Australian workplace, students will have the chance to gain practical experience and preparation for work via simulations and case studies.
The Diploma of Leadership and Management reflects the role of individuals who apply knowledge, practical skills and experience in leadership and management across a range of enterprise and industry contexts.
After the completion of this course, Individuals will display initiative and judgement in planning, organising, implementing and monitoring their own workload and the workload of others. They will learn to use communication skills to support individuals and teams to meet organisational or enterprise requirements. It will equip them with skills to plan, design, apply and evaluate solutions to unpredictable problems, and identify, analyse and synthesise information from a variety of sources.
