Course Description:

This course aims to provide students with the necessary English skills to be able to communicate their needs and intentions to others whether they are native English speakers or speakers of other languages using English as a lingua franca. The course is designed for students wishing to use English for a wide variety of purposes.

DURATION:

The General English Course at Acacia runs for 45 Weeks per year. Each Term is 10 weeks long and there is a week break after each term. At the end of the year there is a three-week summer break. There are 20 hours face-to-face scheduled classes each week.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

The prerequisite is completion of compulsory secondary education or equivalent. Students will be allocated to classes based on their performance in Acacia English Placement Test.
